For our 12th installment of the “Destination Spotlight” we venture to the 30th State in our nation, Wisconsin, and a place known for  football — Green Bay.  This industrial town is built in an arm or basin of Lake Michigan, and paper mills and the shipping industry are big here.  The area features a well respected Children’s Museum, botanical gardens, the National Railroad Museum and more for visitors.  But clearly its biggest draw is the only professional sports franchise that’s community-owned in the United States — the NFL’s Green Bay Packers.  And capitalizing on this community fixture is the recent development of the Titletown district surrounding Lambeau Field, and a new 4-star hotel owned by the Kohler family — Lodge Kohler.  Here’s a link to our discussion with the CEO of the Green Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau — Brad Toll …
