For the 45th installment of our “Destination Spotlight” series, on 11 May 2019, during the live broadcast of RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa, we turned our focus to city of Omaha, as the area just came off their annual Berkshire Hathaway shareholders convention. Over 40,000 people decent on the city for this wildly popular event, but Omaha is a lot more than being Warren Buffett’s hometown. Located in the 37th State in our nation, often referred to as the “Cornhusker State” — yes Omaha has its share of billionaires, and yes it features excellent steaks, but it also boasts a lively Old Market Entertainment District not far from the waterfront along the Missouri River.
