During the week of 25-30 September 2023 our main show hosts Robert & Mary Carey were engaged with our special “Let’s Go America! Tour” – Maui.  After the fires that impacted that island on August 8th, they knew it was important to return to the island that they love and focus the power/reach of our popular national program to positively impact the people and businesses of Maui — and encourage travel/tourism while showing first-hand that the Aloha spirit remains…

The day before the live remote broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show from the Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea Resort, Robert & Mary reconnected with Show Friend Kalei Uwēko’olani, who serves as the property’s Cultural Programming Manager and Leadership Educator.  During their 30 minute or more wide-ranging conversation, they brought along the show microphones and recorded some of what was discussed and brought it back to share with show fans/followers as part of our live broadcast on 14 October 2023 for the “Personal Connection” segment of the show.
