For our final live broadcast of 2018 of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show, before taking some time to enjoy the holidays, for the 36th episode in our “Destination Spotlight” series, on 15 December 2018, we featured San Antonio and their unique River Walk.  Clearly known for The Alamo, San Antonio is a terrific city to visit, located in the 28th State in our nation, known as The Lone Star State.  If you’ve never experienced the River Walk in San Antonio — it’s a wonderful sprawling park that features a network of walkways along the water providing access to numerous restaurants, hotels, bars, shops, public artwork, historic missions and more.  It’s what makes this city distinctly different from others.  Other popular things to do in San Antonio include their Art Museum located in the old Lone Star Brewery, SeaWorld, the Farmers Market in the popular Pearl District, Natural Bridge Caverns, the Culinary Institute of America, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the San Antonio Zoo, a San Antonio Spurs NBA game and more.  But we say a must is also a cruise along the River Walk (and of course a visit to The Alamo).  Here’s a link to our discussion with Maggie Thompson of the San Antonio River Walk Association …
