When you think of Phoenix, Arizona what comes to mind?

The Valley of the Sun region of our nation caters to every type of traveler with so many top luxury resorts, you’ll also find a thriving culinary scene there — plus all the outdoor activities that are available.  Things like hiking Camelback Mountain or South Mountain Park, enjoying the Zoo and Botanical Gardens at Papago Park, all the golf options that the area offers, attending Cactus League Spring Training baseball games and more.  Then there’s the professional sports scene that’s blossomed in Phoenix with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Coyotes…  The Sonoran Desert area also has a wide range of Museums to experience from the Children’s Museum of Phoenix to the Pueblo Grande Museum, Arizona Science Center, Phoenix Art Museum — even the Musical Instrument Museum.  And their airport is one of the best in the country!

Nearly 5 years have passed since we last checked-in on Phoenix, so for “Destination Spotlight” #116, during our live broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show on 18 November 2023, we invited Visit Phoenix CEO Ron Price to joins us and talk about his city.  To hear our conversation with him that aired nationwide across the 535+ weekly affiliates airing RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa, you can access the full interview by clicking-on the play arrow immediately below this text …
