Motown music, and motor city for being the epicenter of the car/truck world are synonymous with Detroit, but the city also offers great facilities for their baseball, football, basketball and hockey professional sports teams, Belle Isle is a treat for visitors offering convenient golf and a casino, Canada is just across the river, and its airport is easy to navigate and close to the city and nearby Dearborn. Detroit puts it’s own spin on pizza, and displays of art at its Detroit Institute of Arts rival those of any major museum in the world.
