We’ve been hearing it from our show fans…you see it in the news — travelers are eager to cruise again and as cruise operators return their ships to service, it has many now booking new itineraries and eager to get back out there…
You can often learn a lot about a person by how then handle a crisis or by the way they handle challenges. For Gus Antorcha, he clearly is someone who enjoys challenges and is comfortable operating during a crisis because he chose to move within Carnival Corporation from his role as Chief Operating Officer with Carnival Cruise Line to take on the role of President of Holland America Line — during the height of the Coronavirus pandemic — when the industry and his company were facing the worst periods in their history. And because of his approach, Holland America Line has adapted, added new travel options and set itself on a course to rebound and grow forward. That’s why on during our live broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show on 10 July 2021, we invited him to join us and discuss their current state of operations, what’s being done to reassure and welcome back travelers, discuss some things he’s done since taking on this new role and more. You can hear the full interview that aired across the now 480+ weekly affiliates airing RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa, immediately following this text by clicking on the play arrow …
