2025 has us showcasing State travel during our popular “Destination Spotlight” series of the show, and our hosts Robert & Mary Carey have chosen to do it alphabetically. Alabama occurred on Jan 18th, Alaska on Feb 1st, Arizona on Feb 8th, Arkansas on March 1st, California on March 29th, Colorado on April 26th, Connecticut on May 10th, Delaware on May 31st, Florida on June 14th, Georgia on June 21st and Hawaii on July 12th. During our live national broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio on July 26th — we showcased America’s 43rd State that was admitted to the Union back in 1890…
Besides the sheer size of Idaho, it’s a State filled with outdoor activities and adventure. From its many Scenic Byways, Mountains, miles of White Water and great Hiking Trails — the offerings are impressive. Certainly most people know of the State Capital — Boise, and it is a gem of a place to go experience that is sure to surprise you. But don’t overlook places such as Sun Valley, Pocatello, Twin Falls and other inviting towns! If we asked you to draw a picture of a vegetable you most associate with Idaho, the potato of course would likely be what you draw. Wheat and sugar beets are also widely grown in this Agricultural State and livestock and dairy are also very important. But did you know that today you’ll find over 60 vineyards growing varieties of grapes for Idaho’s growing wine scene — it’s true!
