2025 has us showcasing State travel during our popular “Destination Spotlight” series of the show, with hosts Robert & Mary Carey doing it alphabetically.  Alabama occurred on Jan 18th, Alaska on Feb 1st, Arizona on Feb 8th, Arkansas on March 1st, California on March 29th, Colorado on April 26th, Connecticut on May 10th, Delaware on May 31st, Florida on June 14th, Georgia on June 21st, Hawaii on July 12th, Idaho on July 26th, Illinois on August 9th, Indiana on September 6th, Iowa was September 20th and Kansas occurred a week ago on October 18th.  That made America’s 15th State, that was admitted to the Union back in 1792 — next — and during our live national broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio on October 25th — Kentucky had our focus…

Kentucky is a State where beauty surrounds you, and you’ll find so many different things to see, do, experience and enjoy…  For many horses and Kentucky are synonymous, but there wouldn’t be baseball without the “Bluegrass State”…  A fun way to venture around the State is on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, as there are over 60 locations for you to visit featuring a mix of large and small distilleries.  Kentucky has given the world Kentucky Fried Chicken, it’s home to the longest cave system in the world — Mammoth Cave National Park, it’s also home to where America’s sports car is built — the Chevy Corvette — in Bowling Green.  America’s 16th President, Abraham Lincoln, was born in Kentucky — and a visit to the State wouldn’t be complete with diving into a Hot Brown or some Derby Pie!

Hank Phillips, the CEO of the Kentucky Travel Industry Association and former Deputy Commissioner of Kentucky Tourism joined us for the showcase of the State, and now that RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa has successfully transmitted via satellite and aired across the USA on our 610 weekly radio stations, you can access the interview that’s been archived here, just click the play arrow immediately following this text …
