It was back in April 2017 that we created the special “Destination Spotlight” segment of our national show, and it has certainly grown to become a popular staple.  When planning a trip places like New York, San Fransisco, Orlando, Nashville, Las Vegas are easy to consider and probably immediately come to mind — but there’s an entirely other tier of excellent locations that are also worthy of your consideration and travel dollars.  And the ambition of each location that we choose to feature is simple — to entice our show fans to consider visiting…

For Destination Spotlight #100, the charming community of Charlottesville Virginia took center stage.  Located in the 10th State in our Nation that was admitted to the Union back in 1788, and is known as the “Mother of States” or the “Old Dominion” — Charlottesville itself actually predates that with its founding in 1762…

During our live broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show on 19 November 2022 — we discussed an array of popular attractions that draw visitors to the area with Courtney Cacatian, Executive Director of Charlottesville’s CVB.  They include the University of Virginia, President Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, the homes of President James Monroe and James Madison, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah National Park, and more.  And we also discussed what’s ahead for the current holiday season.
