2025 has us showcasing State travel during our popular “Destination Spotlight” series of the show, with hosts Robert & Mary Carey doing it alphabetically.  Alabama occurred on Jan 18th, Alaska on Feb 1st, Arizona on Feb 8th, Arkansas on March 1st, California on March 29th, Colorado on April 26th, Connecticut on May 10th, Delaware on May 31st, Florida on June 14th, Georgia on June 21st, Hawaii on July 12th, Idaho on July 26th, Illinois on August 9th, Indiana on September 6th, Iowa was September 20th, Kansas happened on October 18th and Kentucky on October 25th.  As the calendar turned to November it brought us to Louisiana.  Known affectionally as the Bayou State or Pelican State, America’s 18th State was admitted to the Union back in 1812 — and during our live national broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio on November 1st our hosts Robert & Mary Carey were joined by Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser.

Louisiana is a place that is home to 400+ Fairs and Festivals each year, and as they like to say if you can “Catch It, Dance It, Eat It or Shoot It” there is a festival waiting there for you…  From the renowned World War II Museum in New Orleans to Mardis Gras there and across the State, you certainly won’t go hungry when you’re in Louisiana and the Lt. Governor shared why!  The State also ranks high with favorable property costs, low energy costs and strong workforce training programs — all things important to the World of Travel.  Music, food, culture, history — and a passion for their sports teams are all unmistakeable in Louisiana and it’s why we say it’s place well worth your travel dollars.

Now that RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa has successfully transmitted via satellite and aired across the USA on our 610 weekly radio stations, you can access the interview that’s been archived here, just click the play arrow immediately following this text …
