Based in New York City, the privately held Internova Travel Group is one of the largest global travel services operators in the World of Travel.  They operate a vast network of successful travel brands and are connected with more than 100,000 travel agents/advisors in around 80 countries or so.  The company engages both leisure and corporate travelers through a large portfolio of trusted travel brands, franchise operations, event management services, publications and more.

Typically when we engage with Internova we connect with its top leader, be it Ninan Chacko for example in past years to more recent times with current day CEO J.D. O’Hara.  But as a change of pace for the latest “Chief Travel Leader” conversation on the June 6th 2026 edition of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show, we invited their long-standing Chief Information Officer, Jermey Van Kuyk, to connect and he was front and center via the Show Hotline.

Picking-up on something discussed during the “CTL” on the May 30th 2026 live broadcast with Railbookers CEO Frank Marini, The Careys got Jeremy to discuss how companies can provide good customer service when the travel industry is pushing less human interaction and more involvement with electronics.  They also shared thoughts on AI and its growing impact on travel, as well as some current strengths/weaknesses.  Robert & Mary delved into recent changes Internova has made unifying ProTravel International, Tzell Travel Group and ALTOUR into their Global Travel Collection to get some insights into what prompted the move.  Additionally they got personal with Jeremy on his love for the travel industry, why he’s made it his career and more.

Now that RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa has been transmitted over satellite and aired across the USA via our 625 weekly AM & FM radio stations that broadcast the program nationwide, you can access the interview that’s been archived here by simply clicking the play arrow beneath this text …
