Tour”…  These special events culminate with a live remote broadcast from the destination, and they’re filled with an array of happenings from the busy daily itineraries that connect The Careys with different sides of the locations they visit.  These are locales beyond the brochure or easily found activities on a website.  The purpose of each big “Let’s Go America! Tour” is to educate/entice/empower show fans and followers to travel — to get people out from behind the desk, off the sofa, out of their comfort zone and most importantly — out and about experiencing/enjoying the world!

For the latest edition of our big “Let’s Go America! Tour” series, working in concert with show partner, Hilton Grand Vacations, a travel industry leader that’s been aligned with RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa for a number of years now, The Careys agreed to descend on the vacationland mecca of Orlando — which also happens to be the corporate headquarters of HGV.

The Grand Opening of America’s newest and largest theme park, Universal’s Epic Universe, coincided with this particular big “Let’s Go America! Tour” – Orlando so Robert & Mary decided to also go behind-the-scenes with the park’s General Manager Jeff Polk — helping to make the live remote broadcast on May 17th EPIC!  All in all it was a busy week filled with theme park exploration, connecting with members of a 100 year old family-owned Citrus growing farm, experiencing Wine Bar George at Disney Springs with its owner and Master Sommelier George Miliotes, venturing around the popular Icon Park with IAAPA COO Michael Shelton, spending time in charming  and nearby Winter Park, visiting Dezerland Park and the Orlando Auto Museum, helping the team at Hilton Grand Vacations kick-off their new alliance with Operation Homefront, and working to collectively pack more than 1500 backpacks for school age children of American Military families — plus more!  Orlando is more than just theme parks, and Robert & Mary showcased the city’s diversity and wide-range of offerings.
