Captain Theresa Claiborne is a true trailblazer and she’s experienced such an enriching life as she’s broken barriers.
Her Mom’s sage words of “Do ‘A-Work’ if you want an A in life” has been motivational from an early age and helped in propelling Theresa to become the first black female pilot in the United States Air Force, and then the first to serve as an Aircraft Commander and Instructor for the KC-135.
After leaving the military she joined United Airlines, flying the Boeing 747-400 for years, working her way to becoming a Captain flying the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and others. She’s also served as President of Sisters of the Skies since 2017.
The “Personal Connection” is all about the inspirational aspects of travel, the impact that travel can have on all of us and its transformational qualities. Captain Theresa Claiborne embodies all of that and more, so during our live national broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show on August 10th, 2024 — we invited her aboard to share some of her uplifting story with the nation.
Now that the full broadcast of RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa has transmitted via satellite across the USA to our 585+ weekly radio stations, you can access the audio archive in .mp3 format here by simply clicking on the play arrow that follows this text…
