Listen to our Destination Spotlight on Williamsburg

Ed Harris, CEO
Visit Williamsburg
www.VisitWilliamsburg.com

When our show hosts, Robert & Mary Carey, created the “Destination Spotlight” segment back in 2017, the purpose of the segment has been consistent — to showcase locations they’ve personally visited and share some insights into what makes each place worthy of your travel dollars.  If you’re planning a trip you likely know the top spots in our country, but there’s an entirely other tier that are also places to consider!

We first showcased Williamsburg on the June 10th, 2017 live broadcast and during our live national broadcast on October 26th 2024 — 2695 days later — we decided it was long overdue for a checkin.  Ed Harris is the CEO of Visit Williamsburg, and he joined the show for a lively discussion on what attracted him to the area, some local favorites like Busch Gardens as well as nearby Jamestown and Yorktown that help create the “Historic Triangle” to engage visitors and more.  Williamsburg, Virginia is a part of the country that’s ideal for families, couples, multigenerational travel — young and old — and if you haven’t been there lately it’s time for a return visit!  You may also be surprised what a fun place it is during the holiday season too…

Now that the program has been transmitted over satellite and aired across the USA via our 590+ weekly radio stations that broadcast RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa, you can access the interview again that’s been archived here by clicking the play arrow immediately following this text …
