When travelers hear the name Amtrak, an array of things related to transportation options likely pop into their head. The National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) operates across North America via 21,000 route miles in 46 states, plus the District of Columbia and three Canadian provinces. They operate more than 300 trains each day, traveling to over 500 destinations. There’s new management at Amtrak these days, as former Delta Airlines CEO Richard Anderson took the helm and has brought in a number of new executives. Roger Harris is another former airline executive working to revamp, grow and enhance Amtrak — serving as their Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer.
