For our 41st “Destination Spotlight” we turned our focus to Louisiana’s Capital City nicknamed “Red Stick.”  Located in the 18th State in our Nation, admitted to the Union in 1812 — Baton Rouge is a gem of a place located in the heart of Bayou country, and filled with history, an eclectic culture and delicious foods.  It’s also home to LSU’s “Mike the Tiger” and if you’ve never experienced this habitat it’s worth a visit.  In this latest edition of our ongoing series, on 9 March 2019, Paul Arrigo, the CEO of Visit Baton Rouge joined us to share some snippets of what makes his home city a worthy destination for travelers.  From its festivals to unique neighborhoods, we discussed an array of things that engage visitors and you can hear the full interview, now archived on our website here …
