When a company has been successfully operating for 43 years, they’re clearing doing something right!  Today, Westgate Resorts features an array of 60 luxury resort properties nationwide, plus restaurants, water parks, glamping sites and more.  Through a recent acquisition they’re now expanding internationally for the first time as well.  Anyone connected to the World of Travel likely knows the name David Siegel, the visionary founder of Westgate Resorts.  Sadly, early this year in April, David passed — leaving the company without its Patriarch for the first-time, but he left the firm well-equipped with a strong executive management team, and his family fully aware of his vision for the future.

Jared Saft joined Westgate Resorts back in 2006 and over his 19 years with the firm he’s held a number of key executive management roles — leading to his current responsibilities as Chief Business & Strategy Officer.  During the July 12th, 2025 national broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show, we decided to check-in with Jared to hear how the company is moving forward without David, get a report on current operations and business realities, delve into how passage by Congress of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” will positively impact the company and its employees, and more.
