As we say with frequency on-air, travel is such an important connector in our society as well as a vital economic engine.  What we love about travel is all the people that we encounter and the relationships we build, the opportunities it provides to walk in history, savor different culinary flavors, experience new adventures and opportunities, go behind-the-scenes to share insider info and more — all while positively impacting the areas we visit through the power of our popular national program.  America is blessed with an array of top destinations — and for our most recent big “Let’s Go America! Tour” we paid a visit to America’s 1st Resort, the Omni Homestead Resort, and the community of Hot Springs, Virginia.

America’s #1 Travel Radio Show is now heard on 580 weekly stations across the USA, and our reach exceeds 1.2 million show fans/followers.  It’s a blessing not lost upon us as there simply is not another nationally syndicated travel radio program like ours out there — and everyday we’re thankful for the good fortune that enables RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa to be the leader in our sector of the Travel World.

Up to 8x’s per year we agree to take the program out of the studio and descend on a location of interest for a week long big “Let’s Go America! Tour”…  These special events culminate with a live remote broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show from the destination, and they are filled with busy daily itineraries that connect us with so many different sides of the areas we choose to visit — beyond the brochure or easily found activities on a website.  The purpose of each big “Let’s Go America! Tour” is to educate/entice/empower show fans and followers to travel — as we say “Get out from behind the desk, get off the sofa, get out of your comfort zone and go experience and enjoy the world!”

During the week of May 13-18 2024, for the big “Let’s Go America! Tour” – Hot Springs, VA we certainly showcased an array of activities awaiting you at the Omni Homestead Resort.  This is a special place to go experience because beyond it being America’s 1st Resort.  As we encountered first-hand, the location is all about the vast array of activities offered, the iconic Warm Springs baths and the people working on-property (many of whom are multi-generational team members).

In what we call the “Fastest 2 Hours in Travel” — during our live national broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show on 18 May 2024 — in addition to including the popular “Travel The World From Your Own Kitchen” segment, we focused on the uniqueness of the Omni Homestead Resort and its surroundings.  To hear an archive of the national radio broadcast that was transmitted via satellite across the USA to our network of 580 weekly stations — simply click on the play arrows immediately below this text…
