It all started back in 1997 when Shane Alexander Williams was born with a physical disability, and his parents realized their son would never know the simple pleasure of experiencing fun at a local park.  Fast forward to 2019 and Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration has grown into a worldwide network of inclusive, sensory and literacy-rich playgrounds with locations across the United States as well as Mexico, Israel, Canada, Ecuador, Russia, Argentina, South Africa, Armenia, the Dominican Republic and more.   Since the first playground opened in 2000, co-founder and CEO Tiffany Harris has helped raise over $70 million dollars in mission revenue and grown the organization from the idea of creating one playground to 72 currently, with another 75 in development.  She’s helped design, implement and secure funding for 3 programs that serve thousands of children with disabilities each year — and oversees the organization’s administration and growth, fundraising, outreach, and program development.  During our live broadcast of RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa on 14 December 2019, she joined us for our latest “Personal Connection” episode to discuss specifics about Inclusion Matters and how travelers and locals alike can enjoy these important playgrounds.  You can hear the full interview that aired across our network of 410+ affiliates nationwide by clicking on the arrow below …
