“Destination Spotlight” #35 had us focused on the largest city in Missouri — Kansas City.  This vibrant city of is a great place to enjoy top barbecue, jazz or take in professional or collegiate sports.  It’s also home to many outstanding museums that will keep travelers of all types busy throughout their visit, including the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and Sculpture Gardens, National World War I Museum and Memorial, Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, National Museum of Toys, National Airline History Museum, American Jazz Museum, Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and more.  The Kansas City Zoo has been ranked as one of America’s best, and a trip to the area wouldn’t been complete without a visit to The River (City) Market with its array of independent merchants, eateries, and eclectic surroundings that date back to the late 1850’s.  For Amusement Park fans, be sure to check out ‘Worlds of Fun’ with over 230 acres of rides, attractions, shows, special events — even Dinosaurs!  Here’s a link to our discussion with Jason Fulvi, the CEO of VisitKC …
